We rely on the income from our regular events to help support our activities. They are also great fun for volunteers helping out and for the people who attend. If you have suggestions for other events or could help by providing time or services, please contact the office.
The main events are:
Jumble Sale – last week of September- jumble collected all year. The 2012 Sale will take place on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th September. Volunteers always welcome the week before and on the day.
Quiz Night – November. The 2011 Quiz Night will take place on 18th November at 7.30 for 7.45.
Attic Sale – February 25th 2012. Members may book from 1 November, non-members from 1 December 2011.
In 2011 we had over 300 visitors – which was good news for the stallholders – almost 40 of them. Tables sold out very quickly and as ever, the cafe was kept busy providing refreshments for busy buyers and sellers.
Book Sale – twice a year – the next one will take place at the GX Book Fair on Saturday 12th November 2011, 10 am – 4pm. Admission 50p.
We are always grateful for donations of good quality books to sell.
Craft Fair – October. The 2011 Craft Fair will take place on Saturday 29th October, 10am – 3pm. Entry 50p. Over 35 stallholders will be offering an exciting variety of items for sale, many produced by local craftspeople.
Refreshments and free parking are available at these events.
